Our representative, Kenji, participated in a panel discussion at an open innovation kickoff event held on July 1 at Shiseido's new R&D base, S/PARK, which opened in April 2019.

At the kickoff event, where Shiseido announced fibona, a panel discussion was held with invited startups, discussing various perspectives on the challenges and keys to successful open innovation.

On the day of the event, in addition to Shiseido employees, many people from other companies' new business developers, startups, and media-related people gathered in Minatomirai, Yokohama, making it a charming kickoff event that foreshadowed the acceleration of open innovation in the future.
