(Headquarters / Nishi-ku, Yokohama City, President / Kenji Ota), which provides optimal fragrances for individuals and companies, produced limited-edition fragrances for artists affiliated with Sony Music Entertainment, with the cooperation of Sony Music Entertainment, a comprehensive entertainment company, and conducted a PoC of fragrance sales as artist merchandise at live venues in December 2019.

Nowadays, the live entertainment market, centered on music concerts, is thriving. CODE Meee has quickly focused on the appeal of "fragrances," which directly affect memory and emotions, and has worked on fragrance production and sales for live spaces with singer-songwriters and classical artists, with the concept of artists and songs.
From those who have experienced fragrances at live events so far, we have received delightful messages through direct messages to the company and individual SNS posts, such as, "It's wonderful to have the fragrance of a beloved person or song," and "I can always remember the excitement of the live performance with this fragrance."
In addition, fragrance sales as new merchandise items at music concerts have steadily increased.
This PoC in December 2019, with the cooperation of Sony Music Entertainment, will add limited-edition fragrances produced by CODE Meee, featuring affiliated artists, as new fan merchandise items, and will expand fragrance sales at live venues on a larger scale than ever before.
CODE Meee, with its representative, Kenji, who has extensive experience in fragrance development, has the vision of "creating an exciting world with fragrance and IT." Through pitch opportunities at startup and technology events such as B Dash Camp and Infinity Ventures Summit in 2019, we met the new business group of Sony Music Entertainment, and this collaboration came to fruition.
CODE Meee will expand its activities in the live entertainment industry, centered on music concerts, by creating experiential content and new merchandise items that further expand the possibilities of fragrances. What CODE Meee wants to continue to challenge in the "Entertainment x Fragrance" field is not just selling products individually, but "transmitting emotional experiences" through "fragrances that permanently preserve memories and emotions."
